Exciting times, indeed. I’ve got a lot to say and I can’t help saying it. This impulse often takes me to the stage in front of a large corporate group. Other times, to a resort in Bali, where I facilitate hands-on training for entrepreneurs at iLAB. It’s true: I find very few things more exciting and energising than being face-to-face with a group, everyone engaged in conversation, amped about designing the lifestyle they want and deserve.
Yet downtime is also super key, and in more reflective moments alone I tend to put some pen to paper and hash stuff out. Writing, I find, is an ideal opportunity to gain further clarity on what I already know and teach. It’s also when new worlds can be created an conjured, much in the same spirit as the great fiction writers. In all reality, I’m more Oprah than J.K. Rowling, but I remind myself that more than a few startups first found light on the back of a coffee shop napkin.
To date, I’m proud to have co-authored three books, and am currently working on an exciting new book myself, written for seasoned and aspiring business coaches and mentors (if that’s you, touch base with me for a sneak preview and chapter samples, coming soon).
In Living an Abundant Life: Inspiring Stories From Entrepreneurs Around the World, alongside such other influential writers and international thinkers such as Wayne Dyer, Neale Donald Walsch, and Jack Canfield, I reflect about how people often get stuck in their lives, then describe the secrets and tools I’ve discovered, created, and used which launched myself and others into more wildly more successful lives.
